Biography
Sergei Sivko was a Soviet boxer who rose to prominence during the 1950s and 1960s. His athletic career represented the Soviet Union's development of boxing as a competitive sport and source of national pride during the Cold War era.
Sivko's dedication to the sport exemplified the rigorous training and discipline characteristic of Soviet athletics. Though his life was cut short, he left an impression on Soviet boxing history. He was laid to rest at Kuzminskoye Cemetery following his death in 1966.
