Sergey Zharov

Biography

Sergey Zharov (1912–1999) lived a long life spanning most of the twentieth century, witnessing the dramatic transformations of his era. His years were marked by the historical upheavals and developments that shaped Russian society throughout the 1900s.

Zharov's longevity allowed him to see the world change profoundly from his youth through his final years. He is remembered at Nikolo-Arkhangelskoe Cemetery, where his grave marks the resting place of one who lived through an extraordinary historical period.
