Biography

Seth Bullock lived a life shaped by the rigors of the frontier, first answering the call for law and order in Montana and then bringing the same steadfast leadership to Deadwood, South Dakota.

He combined courage with an open heart, helping to organize successful communities and tempering ambition with a sense of civic duty that made his name synonymous with the resilience of the Black Hills; his grave at Mount Moriah Cemetery marks his lasting bond with the people he served.
