Biography
Shalom Meir built industrial enterprises that gave employment to many in the expanding Yishuv, investing in factories and infrastructure that served both local communities and the wider economy.
He supported social welfare initiatives, encouraged apprenticeships, and after his death people remembered him as an industrialist who understood that prosperity must be shared; he rests in Pardes Hanna-Karkur.
