Shalom Mordechai Webermann

Biography

Shalom Mordechai Webermann (1822–1886) was a Hungarian rabbi who served his community with dedication to Jewish religious and cultural traditions. As a spiritual leader, he provided guidance and leadership to his congregation during a significant period in Hungarian Jewish history.

Webermann's rabbinical service contributed to the preservation and transmission of Jewish faith and practice in 19th-century Hungary. His memory is honored at Tiszalök, where he was laid to rest, and his legacy continues within the Jewish heritage of Hungary.
