Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam (1907-2000) was a Hasidic leader whose faith, scholarship, and compassion helped revive spiritual life for countless survivors of war. As the rebbe of Bobov, he devoted himself to teaching Torah, supporting families, and restoring the institutions that nurtured his community's soul.

With an unwavering focus on hospitality and charitable deeds, he inspired disciples to combine devotion with outreach, ensuring that kindness remained central to Hasidic practice. Floral Park Cemetery holds his memory, a gathering place for those who continue to learn from his example.
