Sid Mohan Mitra

Biography

Sid Mohan Mitra (1856–1925) was a writer of considerable talent whose literary contributions enriched the cultural landscape of his time. Working during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Mitra engaged with the intellectual currents of his era through his writing.

Mitra's work reflected the diverse perspectives and evolving sensibilities of his period. He was cremated at Golders Green Crematorium, a final resting place chosen by many of London's cultural and intellectual figures.
