Biography
Sigrid Mathilda Ekström was a Swedish woman whose life encompassed much of the nineteenth century. She witnessed and lived through a period of considerable social and cultural transformation in Sweden.
Ekström's life and memory are preserved in the cimetière du Nord de Solna, where she was laid to rest. She represents the lives of Swedish women of her generation who contributed to the fabric of their communities.
