Biography

Simon Barasch (1865–1926) was a German merchant whose business activities contributed to the commercial life of Berlin and the broader German economy during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His career reflected the entrepreneurial spirit and commercial development of the period in which he lived.

Barasch's mercantile legacy was part of the vibrant commercial culture of his era. He was laid to rest in the Weißensee Cemetery, a burial ground that honored members of the Berlin business and Jewish communities.
