Simon C. Wilson, born in 1841, came of age as Harrisburg and the nation wrestled with change, and he made his home in that vibrant town, earning the respect of neighbors and friends.

He cherished the rhythms of central Pennsylvania life and remains commemorated by family members and the faithful who visit Harrisburg Cemetery to recall his gentle presence.
