Biography
Sir Richard Williams-Bulkeley, 12th Baronet, born in 1862, was a devoted steward of his Welsh estates, balancing the responsibilities of landholding with generous support for local charities and the worship at St Catherine's Church in Llanfaes, and he also served on regional councils to keep tradition alive while guiding new public works.
He delighted in promoting Welsh music and in ensuring the church could welcome every parishioner, and when he died in 1942 the community honored him with a memorial at St Catherine's as a thoughtful leader whose kindness endured.
