Biography

Sir Thomas Reynell, the sixth Baronet, was a career military officer who upheld the traditions of service with calm bravery, commanding troops with steady judgement during an era of overseas campaigns.

After decades in uniform he settled near Walberton, and St Mary’s Church there honors him as a patron who encouraged the parish and maintained a gracious household that supported the local clergy.
