Snake Wiltse, born in 1871, earned a place in baseball's early history with his pitching prowess and the enthusiasm he brought to America's pastime even as the game was still finding its modern footing.

Paxtang Cemetery became his final resting spot after he died in 1925, where friends could recall the moments he brought excitement to the diamond and camaraderie to the clubhouse.
