Sokratis Skartsis

Biography

Sokratis Skartsis (Greek: Σωκράτης Σκαρτσής, 1936 – 18 December 2024) was a Greek poet and writer, as well as a professor at the University of Patras. He was also a founding member of the University of Patras Poetry Symposium. He published 150 books, including poetry, literature studies, etc. Skartsis died in Patras on 18 December 2024, at the age of 88.
