Solomon P. Sharp

Biography

Solomon P. Sharp was born in 1787 and lived through the early years of Kentucky statehood, carrying with him a deep commitment to civic life and thoughtful leadership. He moved among neighbors with grace and a firm belief in the promise of the young republic.

He now rests at Frankfort Cemetery, where the rolling hills hold his memory and those who visit remember a citizen dedicated to the common good.
