Sophie Duvaucel (1789–1867) was a French woman of letters who contributed to the intellectual life of early nineteenth-century Paris. Her literary pursuits and written works reflected the cultural refinement of her era, earning her recognition among her contemporaries.

A respected figure in Parisian literary circles, Duvaucel maintained an active engagement with the arts and letters throughout her life. She was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery, the final resting place of many distinguished French cultural figures.
