Biography

Sotero Manteli (1820–1885) was a Spanish printer whose contributions to the printing trade played a role in the dissemination of knowledge and information in nineteenth-century Spain. His work in printing reflected the technological and cultural developments of his era.

Manteli's professional dedication to the printing craft contributed to the intellectual and cultural life of his time. He was interred in the Cemetery of Santa Isabel in Vitoria-Gasteiz, a testament to his place in his community and profession.
