Biography

Spartaco Fontano, born in 1922, worked as a turner in Ivry-sur-Seine and used his technical skills and steady hands to support the resistance. His workshop became a discreet hub for repairing equipment, forging documents, and training others in the silent arts of sabotage.

When the occupiers closed in, Spartaco remained resolute and was killed in 1944, leaving behind the legacy of a craftsman who transformed his trade into a weapon against tyranny.
