Biography

Stanisław Mitera (1890–1915) was a Polish historian whose scholarly work contributed to the preservation and understanding of Polish history. Despite his young age, he demonstrated significant intellectual promise and dedication to historical research during the early years of the 20th century.

Mitera's work as a historian reflected his passion for documenting and interpreting Poland's past. Though his career was tragically brief, his contributions to historical scholarship remain part of the Polish intellectual tradition. He was laid to rest in Podgórze New Cemetery, a testament to his place in Polish cultural memory.
