Stephen Prentice Yeomans

Biography

Stephen Prentice Yeomans, born in 1822, answered the call to military service in a time of national trial, showing courage and a deep sense of duty alongside his fellow soldiers.

He later devoted himself to the welfare of veterans, and his steadfast friendship to those comrades is honored by those who visit Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery.
