Biography
Sunsiaré of Larcône (1935–1962) was a writer whose career, though brief, contributed to the literary landscape of mid-twentieth century France. As a creative voice of his generation, he engaged with the intellectual currents of the post-war period during his formative years as a writer.
His life was cut short in 1962 at the age of twenty-seven, a loss to the literary community. He was cremated and his remains placed at the Crématorium-columbarium du Père-Lachaise, one of Paris's most distinguished final resting places for cultural figures.
