1812–1896 (age 84)

Biography

Susan Marshall was a tender steward of faith and family, offering hospitality from her Leeds home to travelers and parishioners alike. She found joy in woven quilts and hearty meals, and she was a beacon of steadiness for friends facing hardship.

Her love of the Leeds Episcopal Church inspired younger women to join in charitable efforts, and she now rests in its cemetery, surrounded by the flowers tended by those she nurtured.
