Biography

Sydenham Elnathan Ancona (1824–1913) answered the call to public service with humility and integrity, steadfast in his desire to care for others and uplift his community. Those close to him praised his ability to remain composed and thoughtful when confronted with difficult choices.

He now rests at Charles Evans Cemetery, where his quiet strength continues to inspire a reverence for reasoned compassion.
