Teofil Firlik

Biography

Teofil Firlik (1912–1945) was a Polish firefighter who served his community with courage and dedication during one of the most turbulent periods in European history. His work in fire service represented the essential services that protected lives and property, even as Poland faced unprecedented challenges during World War II.

Firlik's service as a firefighter exemplified the bravery and commitment of those who worked in emergency services during the war years. His life was cut short by the ravages of the conflict, but his memory endures as a testament to the sacrifices made by ordinary citizens in extraordinary times. He was laid to rest at Saint John the Baptist church in Szczecin, where his contributions to his community are remembered.
