Biography
Terenty Deribas was a Bolshevik activist who participated in the revolutionary movement and the early construction of the Soviet state. His commitment to Bolshevik ideals shaped his involvement in the political and social transformation of Russia.
Deribas was executed at the Kommunarka shooting ground in 1938 during the Great Purge. Despite his early revolutionary service, he became a victim of the very system he had helped to establish, reflecting the tragic irony of this period in Soviet history.
