Thaddeus Burr

Biography

Thaddeus Burr (1735–1801) lived through the unsettled mid-18th-century years, tending his work and the relationships that kept the town together as it matured.

He was laid to rest in the Old Burying Ground, where his steady presence is preserved alongside other early residents.
