Biography
Theodor Chanas was a Czech resident who lived from 1898 to 1970. Born in the late Austro-Hungarian period, he witnessed the establishment of Czechoslovakia and lived through much of the twentieth century's defining historical events.
Chanas's life reflected the experiences of many Central Europeans during an era of significant change and challenge. He was interred in the Cemetery in Židenice, where his memory is preserved within the Prague community.
