Theodor Heinrich

Biography

Theodor Heinrich (1790–1869) was a physician whose medical practice extended across the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. His career in medicine reflected the advancing scientific understanding of health and disease during a period of significant medical progress in Europe.

Heinrich's contributions to Polish medical practice and his long life spanning nearly eighty years demonstrate his dedication to his profession. He was buried at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw, reflecting his Protestant faith and his integration within Warsaw's diverse professional and religious communities.
