Biography

Theodor Herzl, born in 1860, emerged as a visionary writer and journalist whose reflections on Jewish life led him to advocate for a homeland. His work "Der Judenstaat" and his leadership of the First Zionist Congress ignited hope for a collective return.

Though he died in 1904, Herzl's dream endured, and Mount Herzl became the place where the people he inspired laid him to rest, forever linking his memory with the land he longed to see reborn.
