Théodore Roustan

Biography

Théodore Roustan was a French colonial administrator born in 1833 who served in various capacities in France's colonial enterprises. His career reflected the expansionist policies and administrative structures of nineteenth-century French colonialism.

Roustan's work in colonial administration extended throughout much of his life, contributing to French imperial interests until his death in 1906. He was interred in Ceyreste, where his memory endures as part of France's colonial history.
