Therese Abeles

Biography

Therese Abeles was a member of the Brno Jewish community during the early twentieth century. She lived during a period of both cultural flourishing and growing uncertainty in Central Europe.

Abeles lived from 1877 to 1912, her life encompassing the transition between centuries. She was laid to rest in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, where her grave preserves her memory within the community's sacred space.
