Therese Popper

Biography

Therese Popper was born in 1843 and was part of the established Jewish community in Brno during a period of significant cultural development. She lived through much of the 19th century, witnessing the growth and evolution of Jewish life in Moravia.

Therese passed away in 1913, and her burial in the Jewish cemetery of Brno reflects her deep connection to the community. Her life spanned nearly seven decades of Central European Jewish history, a time of both progress and challenge for the Jewish people.
