Therese Skutezky

Biography

Therese Skutezky was a woman of the Brno Jewish community during the 19th century. Born in 1824, she came of age during a period of significant cultural and social development in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, living through the transformative middle decades of the 1800s.

Skutezky maintained her ties to the Brno Jewish community throughout her life, which lasted into the late 1860s. She was interred in the Jewish cemetery in Brno upon her death in 1869, where she is remembered as part of the community's historical record.
