Thiệu Trị was an emperor of the Nguyễn Dynasty during the nineteenth century, continuing the reign of his predecessors in establishing and maintaining Vietnamese imperial authority. His rule represented the continuation of the dynasty's efforts to consolidate power and govern the unified Vietnamese state.
