Biography

Thomas Brigstocke (1809–1881) was a painter whose artistic work contributed to British visual culture during the nineteenth century. His paintings reflected the aesthetic sensibilities and technical developments of his era.

Brigstocke's career as an artist placed him within the vibrant artistic community of Victorian Britain. His work represented the creative achievements of nineteenth-century British painting. He was laid to rest at Kensal Green Cemetery.
