Thomas Dewar, 1st Baron Dewar (1864-1930), was a whisky magnate whose business acumen and philanthropic instincts led him into politics as a Member of Parliament and later peerage.

He used his influence to champion commerce and public service, and his cremated remains were placed at Golders Green Crematorium.
