Biography
Thomas E. Noell, born in 1839, followed in his father’s footsteps by studying law and turning to public service, serving Missouri in Congress from 1865 until his untimely death as the nation worked to heal.
He rests at Saint Mary’s of Barrens Cemetery, where the public remembers his efforts to support reconstruction and returning veterans.
