Biography

Thomas Fordyce served as a soldier during the Napoleonic era, a period of significant military engagement across Europe and beyond. Born in 1791, he dedicated his life to military service, representing the many soldiers who served the British Crown during this turbulent period.

Fordyce died in 1820 at the age of twenty-nine, his life cut short in the prime of his service. He was buried at South Park Street Cemetery in Calcutta, where he is remembered among the many military personnel who found their final resting place in India during the colonial period.
