Biography

Thomas Fremantle, 2nd Baron Cottesloe (1830–1918) was a notable politician and peer who played an active role in British public life during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His tenure as a member of the nobility coincided with a transformative period in parliamentary history.

Baron Cottesloe's contributions to politics and society were acknowledged by his contemporaries. He was interred in St. Swithun's Churchyard, Swanbourne, where he rests in his ancestral community.
