Thomas Hinds

Biography

Thomas Hinds (1780–1840) was a man of the early nineteenth century whose life was devoted to his family and community. He lived during a period of westward expansion and national development.

Hinds' memory is preserved at Hinds Cemetery, a place bearing his family's name. His life represents the pioneering spirit of his era.
