Biography

Thomas Kidney was a skilled steeplejack whose dangerous and demanding profession required exceptional courage and technical expertise. Throughout his career, he undertook the perilous work of maintaining and repairing the high structures that defined the Victorian skyline.

Kidney's dedication to his craft and his willingness to face considerable danger in service of his work earned him recognition among his peers. He was laid to rest in Beckett Street Cemetery, remembered as a capable tradesman who contributed to the built environment of his time.
