Thomas Kilgore (1714–1822) was a man of remarkable longevity whose life spanned more than a century of American history. From the colonial period through the early nineteenth century, Kilgore witnessed the transformation of America from British colonies to an independent nation, living through the Revolutionary War and the establishment of the republic.
