Thomas S. McClelland

Biography

Thomas S. McClelland, born in 1839, spent his long life building bridges between the ideals of earlier times and the promise of a new century. He shared a measured optimism with those around him, encouraging younger people while drawing upon a lifetime of lessons earned through hard work and integrity.

When he died in 1923, the breadth of his experience left many grateful for the wisdom he imparted so freely. His memory rests at Rosehill Cemetery, where he remains a model of service across generations.
