Biography
Major Thomas Stanton Lambert, who passed in 1921, served with distinction in the British Army during the closing years of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth-century conflicts that shaped Europe. His commitment to duty and to the welfare of the soldiers who marched beside him was widely admired.
His leadership, marked by kindness as much as by courage, left an enduring imprint on his regiment and is respectfully remembered at Brookwood Cemetery.
