Thomson Francis Mason

Biography

Thomson Francis Mason was born in 1785 and became a planter of note in the South during the early nineteenth century. He was engaged in agricultural pursuits and was respected for his management of his estates and his participation in the economic life of his region.

Mason lived during a period of significant change in American society, witnessing the growth of the nation and the development of the South. He passed away in 1838 and was laid to rest at Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery, leaving behind the legacy of a life dedicated to his family and his lands.
