Biography
Thruston Ballard Morton, a native of Kentucky, brought a thoughtful, moderate Republican voice to the halls of Congress as both a member of the U.S. House and later the U.S. Senate.
After leaving the Senate he continued to serve the nation by guiding his party through difficult years and by championing civic engagement in his beloved Commonwealth.
