Timothy Alden

Biography

Timothy Alden was born in 1823 and came of age during the dynamic mid-nineteenth century. He lived during a period of significant social, economic, and political change in America.

Timothy Alden died in 1858 and was laid to rest at Green-Wood Cemetery. His life, spanning thirty-five years, reflected the experiences of his generation during the antebellum and early Civil War era.
