Biography

Todd Beamer was a passenger on Flight 93 who demonstrated extraordinary courage and heroism on September 11, 2001. Learning of the terrorist attacks through phone calls, he and fellow passengers made the conscious decision to resist their hijackers, preventing the aircraft from reaching its intended target.

Beamer's final words, "Are you ready? Okay. Let's roll," have become a symbol of American courage and sacrifice. His actions, along with those of his fellow passengers and crew members, prevented further loss of life and are remembered as an act of profound bravery during one of the nation's darkest hours.
