Tomas José Epaltza

Biography

Tomás José Epaltza (1798–1873) was a Spanish businessperson whose commercial endeavors contributed to the economic life of his region during the nineteenth century. His business acumen and entrepreneurial activities reflected the growing commercial development of Spain during this period.

Epaltza maintained an active role in business affairs throughout his long life, spanning nearly seventy-five years. He died in 1873 and was interred in the Cementerio de Bilbao, reflecting his ties to the Basque region and its commercial community.
