Biography

Tommy Worle was an Australian rules football player whose athletic career represented the sporting spirit of early twentieth-century Australia. He competed during a formative period in Australian football history, contributing to the development of the sport in his native country.

Worle's life was cut short during the First World War, when he made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country. His memory is preserved among the fallen at Bridge D'Achelles Military Cemetery, a testament to the many athletes and young men who gave their lives during the Great War.
